The Power Of The Shower Beer

I don’t know about you, but nothing beats a shower beer at the end of a long hard day!

But what makes a shower beer so awesome? Maybe it’s the fact that you can do it anytime you like. Now I’m not saying that I do a shower beer every day, but when I do it’s very liberating.

I don’t belong to a nudist colony so it’s probably the only time I would drink a beer naked (not counting those crazy college years LOL!)

Besides the great feeling you get from drinking a shower beer, why else would you drink beer in the shower? I have come up with a few reasons to actually give a shower beer some validity.

• You are in a hurry to go out somewhere and you want to have a beer before you leave.
• It’s totally relaxing.
• You’re drinking beer.
• You’re naked.
• Your partner’s naked (A guy can dream).
• It’s awesome!
• It improves your multitasking skills.
• It’s OK if you spill it.
• You can wash your hair with it.
• It’s cheaper than going to a spa.
• For some reason it makes the beer taste better.
• It makes for a good social media post.
• It makes for a great blog post. (Hee! Hee!)
• People will be jealous when you tell them.
• It’s something you can’t do in public (unless you want to get arrested)

Now in case you never had a shower beer before, and you want to join the club, there are a few things you need to know before you jump into the shower with brew in hand.

• You should have a place to place your beer while you lather up, like a shower caddy or a built in shelf.
• A can beer is safer than drinking from a bottle or glass unless you are experienced enough to drink from a bottle. You don’t want your shower to end in a bloody mess. (I personally drink from a glass that I can set down right next to my shower that is within arms reach).
• This one’s obvious, but don’t let the shower water get into you beer, unless it’s cheap light beer, which is pretty much water anyway. LOL!

Well there you have it. One of beer drinking simple pleasures! So next time you’re having a really shitty day you know that there is something awesome waiting for you when you get home! PROST!
